New Irish composer and playwright Joseph O’Connor’s new musical play, Flynn, adapts and draws on characters from the novel Tarry Flynn by the late Irish poet, Patrick Kavanagh, marking the 50th anniversary of his death.
Incorporating lines and themes from some of Kavanagh’s most popular works, and arrangements of some of his poems in song alongside many original numbers, Flynn is a celebration of one of Ireland’s greatest poets.
