Throughout the summer, the Abbey Theatre has safely welcomed in-person audiences back for One Good Turn by Una McKevitt and Rosaleen McDonagh’s Walls and Windows.
Every production we have put on sale since June has sold out and we are pleased to be able to satisfy the demand for more people to attend in person.
More tickets for Purple Snowflakes and Titty Wanks by Sarah Hanly and iGirl by Marina Carr will go on sale on Monday 13 September at 3pm.
New restrictions do apply,
- All audience members over 18 years of age will be required to display Covid Certification for entry, and a Photo ID may be required.
- For audience comfort and safety, all performances will have a minimum of 1 metre social distancing in our auditorium and masks will be required.
Final restrictions are due to be lifted on 22 October. Once the proposed lifting of restrictions has been confirmed, we will be updating our own safety protocols which will include details around entry requirements.
Throughout the COVID 19 pandemic, the Abbey Theatre has engaged audiences through free digital broadcasts (Dear Ireland, 14 Voices from the Bloodied Field, Home: Part One, Me, Mollser), pay for view digital content (This Beautiful Virtual Village, One Good Turn, Walls and Windows), and live productions designed for socially distanced audiences (The Great Hunger, Theatre for One, One Good Turn, Walls and Windows).
We will continue to produce great Irish theatre while ensuring the utmost safety for artists, staff, and audiences.
