For one night only, acclaimed singer songwriter, poet and actor Imelda May will read the poetry and prose of Lady Gregory and will perform songs and stories that marry well with each spoken word piece chosen.

This exclusive evening of poetry and music on the Abbey Stage includes excerpts from Lady Gregory’s ‘A Woman’s Sonnets’.

This special evening is part of the Abbey Theatre’s Gregory Project, a body of work which celebrates the legacy of our co-founder Lady Gregory, and comes just one month before Abbey Theatre Artistic Director Caitríona McLaughlin directs Lady Gregory’s Grania on the Abbey Stage.
