"The Farmer's Beast dragged him from his bed to investigate the noise in the night. A strange cry from the edge of the darkest Woods"
Two children are found at the edge of the darkest wood. A wood populated by The Shadows that guide the actions of man. As they grow, the cruelties of their world send them down different paths. This is a story of two paths through those woods. One in the light. One through the dark. Which one would you choose?
In our modern world of hyper morality and virtual judgement, how do we deal with the darkest corners of our minds? These are the questions at the heart of Our Tethered Kin, an epic new dark fairytale told through movement, music, puppetry, and song.
Our Tethered Kin was developed and produced with support from The Arts Council, the Abbey Theatre, and The Everyman.
