Young Curators Project

Would you like to help us to programme a two-week festival? Are you aged 18 – 25? We are seeking applicants for our Young Curators project.

Young Curators 

We are delighted to launch our Young Curators project!

  • Do you have aspirations to be a curator?
  • Do you attend more than one show per month?
  • Do you enjoy discussing & critiquing theatre?
  • Are you age 18-25?

Following a selection process, we will put a group of 4 – 6 curators together who will attend work at various Irish festivals.

Together with our staff, the group will programme a Young Curators’ Festival – two weeks’ work for the Peacock Stage, work that will provoke our young and young at heart citizens.

How to Apply 

If you would you like to become a Young Curator please send us:

  • Your name, age, email address & phone number
  • 100 words about you
  • 250 words on what ideas and projects excite you
  • 200 words what kind of curator you would like to be

All you have to do is send this information in one Pdf attachment to youngcurators@abbeytheatre.ie

The deadline for this is Monday 23 April at 5pm.

Expenses and a nominal fee will be paid to each Young Curator.

This project is open to those who are Irish or living in Ireland.
